About Town, More Photographic Inspiration
These pics were all taken a few weeks prior to my previous post about Pine City. Duluth and the surrounding area is over=flowing with art and views that make one WANT to create. Enjoy!
Carl Eller's partner kindly explained this bowl's story to me. The piece is called "Katrina" and the firing of the piece caused "spots" of yellow and brown that evoke the idea that peoples' faces show in the stormy swirls.

A Little Photo Inspiration
On Saturday a dear friend and I took a mini road-trip to a favorite haunt of mine. I shared with her on the way to Pine City that I haven't been feeling my writing "vibe lately, that the "scrapper" in me has been calling to me and I've been making quite a bit of progress on my PILES.
I knew she'd love the art and "more than just scrapbooking" arty beautiful store and antiques galore. When I dropped Tammy off at home I jokingly apologized to her hubby from bringing home a "new woman." I believe a new scrapper has been birthed.
Better yet, we both had an inspiring day, growing our love of all things art, our friendship and meeting new people, making plans to do more. Get out there and PLAY!
